    Tree straps.

Please don't fully weight load a hammock on a tree as pictured. Tree damage paints a poor picture of our ethics.

You are quite correct, although i should point out those are my own trees due to be cut down next winter
And i do say in the O.P that tree straps would be employed in actual use

I wanted to try these, considering the price. But -- I always check out a new (new to me) commerce website first with resellerratings.com to see if they are a scammer, untrustworthy, etc, before handing over money.

I urge you to do the same here with aliexpress. I won't take a chance. But perhaps others here have had better outcomes?

I have a hard time believing in the ratings on that site. It seems that only the disgruntled post their digruntlements...

    Check out L.L.Bean's rating on there>>>> http://resellerratings.com/store/LL_Bean

I have bought things off of the Chinese sites for years now and have never been burned. The worst thing I can say is that shipping is indeed slow [and the anticipation will kill ya].

Aliexpress is a bit different in that they hold your money till you receive your items /60 days. In which time you can open a dispute. The seller doesn't get his money till things are 'resolved'. If it takes longer than 60 days you get your money back and keep the gear when it comes.
