    New Xenon Tarp-First Build

First of all I want to thank those forum members that gave me advise and encouragement with my first tarp build. I wanted to get it finished for the Texas Hang this week. My Bride decided to go so I needed to build her a tarp. It's approximately 12' long X 10' wide. I do need some advise on where to put the side tie outs. I was thinking about 42" from each end tie out. That would make it about 5 feet in between them. I'll probably put in a pole mod later. I didn't think that flat felled seam would ever end, but it did. Now for the pictures.

Nice one - congrats on a beautiful built. I like how you reinforced the tie-outs.

That is a piece of art. Love the size, and the workmanship looks good to me as well.

That looks great! Very nice color. I have yet to tackle making a tarp, it's on the list.

You did a great job on that ridgeline and tie outs. Your girl should be proud. Heck you should be proud. The nice thing about Xenon is it doesn't stretch so you can make straight hems. easier to sew and more coverage.

That is a sharp tarp. I basically made the same tarp in black. It will be just as taut in the morning as it is in those pics. I like the Xenon reinforcements. Mine is 100 percent Xenon too. And there are some good videos on you tube and here on the forums that show you how to make flat felled seams easier.
