Will there be hiking involved, or mostly hanging near Hawksbill?

Does anyone have an idea of the probable temperatures for this time of year?

Plenty of hiking if you're interested, I'm sure some folks will be heading out.

Temps likely in the 20s at night. Could go lower.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same

Then U.S. Highway 221 north to the Linville Falls area, then Highway 183 to Highway 181. Go south three miles on Highway 181 to Gingercake Road (the second intersection with Gingercake Rd). It's about four miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway intersection with Highway 181. One half mile down Gingercake Rd, stay left (follow Table Rock sign) on road 1264. The pavement ends in a mile. Continue about 2.8 miles to the Hawksbill parking area on left. Trail starts on right side of road (look for the trail sign there). The road is closed January-March."

It is the last sentence that confuses me. If the road to the Hawksbill parking area is closed in February where do we park? Or is this old information.

    Thanks
I do believe they are talking about the paved road to table rock parking lot. It is closed from January to March. The road to hawksbill parking should be clear.

The road that goes to Hawksbill, Spence, etc. is open all year, what's confusing is that road is called Table Rock road. There's a road to the right that actually goes to Table Rock, that's the one with a gate that they close.

Is it time to go yet? I seem to find myself with an excess of time right now and I'm ready to go to the woods. Maybe a shake down run is in order next weekend.
