Where to get Tyvek Ground Sheets

Yes I'll admit it. I'm in need of 2 tyvek ground sheets. I'm headed somewhere later this month where there are not going to be too many trees. The plan is to cowboy camp. I'm going to need ground sheets for myself and my friend.

Where are people getting it these days?

Yes the hammock is going to come along, but will probably stay in the car. Planning on seeing the Arches of Utah. Not going to pass up sleeping under the stars on a rock on this trip.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

Cheap answer: Construction site, stop and ask for a couple of small pieces, offer some small token in exchange. Or, ask around for folks who do construction. Turtle Lady got some by mentioning she wanted it while visiting her sister at an Elk's lodge (I think that was the organization) where she was working.

Less Cheap Answer: buy it at Lowe's or Home Depot. Comes in a large roll. Use rest of it to trade for small gear here.

Some have said it is sold on EBay.

and the WIFI is acting up and slower than snot at -10, BTW Southern UT is awesome this time of year, Moab is such a cool area and you should take a little time to check out the LaSals (mountains just South of Moab and Arches NP) One of my favorite areas to explore.

good choice, you'll be glad you went there. moab is really close to arches. the colorado river basically runs right through the area just out of town. there's one road along one side of the river and one along the other side. one is potash rd. the other rd (can't remember the name) has primitive pull-in camping spots in a big grove of trees right along the river. you can definately hang there. there's a more improved campground camping area along the river if you drive in one direction (with pavement and pit toilets i think), but this spot i'm talking about is down the rd in the other direction, it's pull-in primitive sites. there's good free camping all around moab though, you shouldn't have a problem, we car camped for free in several spots over a few trips.

Thanks for the heads up. Going to do more backpacking than car camping. Might look into that for the first night depending on when we get there.
