The wife and I had a great time. Pretty sure the three dogs also had a great time too. Always great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Thursday evening I came up from the South Trail head. 5 or so miles in, the clouds started to roll, and the temperature dropped pretty quick. I set up camp, and within the hour dinner was on the stove, and I was reading from my hammock. sometime around midnight, the wife called, to say her father was rushed to the ER with chest and arm pains. I packed up, hiked back to the car, and was at the hospital just as fast as my fat little legs would take me. I stayed with them til Friday afternoon, returned on Saturday, and slept in all day Sunday.
He has clogged arteries, COPD, and a spot on his liver they will be reviewing Tuesday. My father in law is a heavy smoker, strong willed, pig headed old fart that knows 4 times that or a doctor. but i love the old man......
Hope everyone had a great time, and hope to catch up to you soon.
This weekend, I am heading back to that camp to get the items I forgot...
    Jetboil stove
    titanium spoon
    GSI cup with coffee
    coffee press for my Jetboil
    fire starter kit
    folding hand saw
    and a first aid kit.
I was about 100 yards off the trail, so i should be ok.

    Jerry
