For those of you who have used the above hammocks in winter type weather, what are your thoughts on the stock tarps?
Have any of you found effective winter tarps for the above hammocks?
Thanks in advance for the help!

You will need at least 10' minimum from head to foot on Amok.

The stock tarp is ok, it does what it's supposed to, cover you. But, for winter it'd be nice to have some doors. I've tried to prop the two center guy lines up with my hiking poles, then stake the remaining lines down sharply to the ground. It works , sort of. I'd like to see if any of the aftermarket tarps(Shug) like the cuban fiber that Stormcrow sells work well, or if it'd be better off to have one custom built. A guy would save a substantial amount of weight, but at a high cost. Food for thought.
Thanks for the picture Shug. I was just about to ask how a Grizbeak would work on the Amok's tarp.

I meant to mention that what attracted me to this tarp was the center stake out/guy line location, and the 9' ridge line length. It's almost like it was made for the Amok. Plenty of interior space and coverage.
What's the width on that tarp?
