I don't think that I have seen this here.

I don't have any pics, but this is pretty simple.

Once the strap is threaded through the rings, I zip tie the rings together. I use two or three 8" zipties on either side of the strap. If you use too many, it becomes difficult to adjust the strap. If you use a ridgeline, make sure it is not taut when you get in. This is not an easy setup to undo under tension.

I haven't tried this part, but putting a 4" ziptie around one ring on each side on the strap may limit how tightly the rings can grip the strap and allow more zipties to be added for greater security. The gap between the rings can be adjusted by moving the 4" zipties away from the strap to the other side of the first or second 8" zipties.

So, if you are looking at the ring from the front, with the rope to the hammock at 12:00 and going clockwise, you have:

My tested configuration
rope, ziptie, ziptie, ziptie, strap, ziptie, ziptie, ziptie.

Untested configuration with spacer
rope, ziptie, ziptie, ziptie, 4" ziptie around one ring, strap, 4" ziptie around one ring, ziptie, ziptie, ziptie.

Untested configuration #2 with smaller gap
rope, ziptie, ziptie, 4" ziptie around one ring, ziptie, strap, ziptie, 4" ziptie around one ring, ziptie, ziptie.
