This is a quick video of an ultralight setup I just put together. The other day while surfing Dutchs website I noticed he has fabric remnants on sale. I picked out a couple pieces just large enough to make this hammock and tarp. Of course I also had to get all the stuff that goes with rigging them. This is going to be a replacement daypack "just in case" sort of setup. Mostly for when I just find a spot I HAVE to hang in. Let me know what you think.

Nice Setup. I just finished a tarp out of Xenon. It's good material in my opinion.
Yeah so far I like it. I hung under it this afternoon and it's still hanging outside. It's been raining on and off all day, so far it doesn't look like it has sagged at all. So far i'm really happy with this material, and the tarp packs up about the size of a baseball.Originally Posted by Spark

sweet tarp! not a huge fan of diamonds due to windy rainy days, but for minimalistic sake, it is pretty sweet. ill have to grab some xenon and make something cool with it.
I agree, not the biggest fan of the asym shape but a tarp I can carry in my back pocket that provides real protection surely can't be overlooked.

Definitely true! Good job for sure. I'm making a 12 footer with doors, I kind of wish it was just an asymso much sewing
