It was from that forum's hammock section that I received the suggestion to come here for all the info I could ever want about hammocks.

If you become a donating member then there are other forums that appear that allow for discussion of camping/hiking gear.
We do this in order to keep the main stream of the site hammock related only.

I've stopped participating there, it's basically a "knife" forum now with 80% of the posts made by knife makers ( or so it seems). There is still some good Bushcraft info in the forum history though...
