    School night hang

Well sort of. Gotta be a responsible adult and show up at work on Monday morning, but when Florida throws ya a night in the 30's, you gotta get out and test you stuff! Especially when you got some new comfy quilts
So my buddy and I threw a couple dehydrated meals in the packs and took off yesterday afternoon into the woods to do some R&D for our North Carolina winter trip in January. Both with 0 degree Incubators and 20 degree burrows. MAN O MAN were they nice! Belive it or not, temps got down to 37 with a "real feel" of 32. Both slept in just our boxers and couldnt have been happier. Top that off with an All Star Special from Waffle House before work, and I'm rolling into Monday strong!!

Just did the same last night and going out again tonight. Off for the holiday, but I am only hanging in the back yard. Just had to see how far I could take my diy underquilt while I wait for my 20 Incubator. In NorthCentral Florida and like you said, we florida folk have to take advantage of the weather. Especially since the night before it was in the 60's. Like you we got to 37 with a real feel of 31. I was glad I pitched the tarp low.

yeah, we kept the tarps up high on purpose to feel some cold breeze. Thinking an underquilt protector will get added to my pack here shortly.

I think you inspired me to try it tonight.
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

Nice. I did the same thing but in the backyard. Where are you in Florida? I'm in Pensacola and we had a good cold streak too.

Gainesville here. It was nice and cold, but I was almost to warm at times.
