    Keeping UQ In Place

I have a WBBB XLC and a 0* Incubator. The Incubator seems to drop off my shoulders a few times a night & I have to reach out & readjust. I am thinking I need to order from Dutch 3 or 4 Titanium D rings per side to sew onto the UQ and corrosponding Aluminum Quilt hooks to sew onto the hammock. Does that sound like the right solution or is there a better way?

I had my 0' incubator out last weekend with my DHDB with no problem. Im thinking maybe the suspension needs to be snugged up a bit? I find it hugs my shoulder when its snug. Dutch quilt hooks would be a great addition though!
    Just my 2 cents.

This is why I switched to netless hammocks.

I just ordered some quilt hooks from Dutch yesterday for my Blackbird and they shipped this morning. Dutch, thanks for the quick processing. I just watched Shug's videos he referenced above and I think I heard him say once to snug up the underquilt suspension. Ok, he said it more than once. I will play with the suspension and see if it helps.

I think the net is not going to be an issue. Just need to use D rings in conjunction with the quilt hooks, and sew them on - I think.

I was going to go quilt hooks....then I realized that while hooks would certainly make the UQ stay in one position, for me it appeared they'd make venting a bit more difficult.

One of the things I do like about hooks, is that it makes it possible to pack hammock and UQ together, making set up and tear down a bit quicker. When I need to vent I want to vent quick, so no hooks it is.

I had the same issue the first night in my XLC. Watch Shug's video on adjusting your UQ and once adjusted properly you won't have the problem anymore.

Dutch also has ridgeline quilt hooks. I use those. A white one on the top of the UQ suspension and a black one on the bottom. Dual purpose, snugs UQ and changes the angle of the quilt suspension to "up". They work.
