    Namaste,
I wondered if anyone would get the footloose thing!!!
    Glad you got it.

I prefer ridgeline under the tarp. I use prussics and "S" hooks for ajustments. When I get my tarp setup finished I'll post the pics.
Do post them! I too learn better by seeing.

I just got a SWT myself and have been thinking of the full ridge. look forward to trying it out.
I like your idea of tying the door up to the ridge. When i was fidlin w/ my tarp I thought i'd like to tie this door up out of the way but didn't want to throw the line over to the opposite corner. (since there existed no ridgeline) so i tried tying the door up to the tarps opposite ridge tieout but didn't work as nicely.
After reading about the ridgeline as a clothesline under the tarp I figure i've got to try that and i bet tying the door up under the tarp to the RL would work well if tight enough!
going to get me some RL
oh, and as far as rain following the line under the tarp, - just drop a drip line. No?

Enjoy your tarp and let us know how it works out.

Another thanks. I have been following the reefing topic, and had a pretty good visual, but this confirmed everything. Plus it answered a question I was about to ask, as to what to do with the guy lines. I have found them to be the most time consuming part of my set up and tear down. I have been rolling and tying them every time. I thought about sewing little pockets with some velcro at each tieout but that will not be necessary with this method.

I am liking the SWT ... gonna add some side tie-outs. Trying to decide if two per side or one .... leaning towards two.
