    I think I will tie to the tree itself seems like the smartest thing to do. I can't wait to sleep in this thing, now I haven't tried getting into my sleeping bag while in the hammock, I am sure my husband will have great stories about that one after the first few times I try.

    Just got back from the hike. I loved the hammock, very very comfortable. I am a convert !!!!!!!!!!

    yep, i believe there are at least two or three NC hammockers i haven't met yet... & probably several others close enough to make it to hot springs if schedules allow.

    I was thinking the same thing, Tim. Maybe 15 or so would be nice. There's plenty of trees to go around at that site, so hope there are plenty of hammocks to fill them.
