i am officially requesting a 10% kickback for using my design.
or, you can send me a REAL Guiness. the sheit we have over here in the states is only 3.5%
i agree with the others, that quilt looks real nice. i used a sewn thru model similar to your design and it worked great to 42 degrees.
mine was in the 10oz neighborhood. but not nearly as water resistant as your fabrics, im sure.
    have fun w/ it!

No 2 is now just about complete. Slightly narrower (minus 3" compared to the last one) which should be a better fit on the hammock. It will also pack much smaller. 1.1 Ripstop pertex both sides. 170g of 800 fill down. Approx 54" by 37" . 5 baffles with a differentiated down distribution. More down on the central 3 compared to the two sides.

Just need to add the hanging system. I plan on using two different colours of grossgrain to help identify head/foot end.

Next project will a synthetic version

I'm much happier with the stitching this time. I have a better feel for how the machine works and how the material handles.

This is where it all started. Buy a hammock and look what goes and happens.

Unsponsored, great job, before this project, had you ever had any experience with thread injecting, I dont have any and was wondering how difficult or not difficult was it to follow the DIY instructions, measureing, cutting, sweing, stuffing etc. Just curious, again great job in your first proect.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
