Hey guys and gals , I wanted to share a video of the Costco down throw sewn to the bottom of a hammock. Grapenut did a great job on it. Here is a peek at it and how it turned out.. Enjoy.

Nice looking hammock. I'm really liking the concept of an integrated hammock/underquilt.
That's a good looking hammock. That beats having to keep adjusting you under quilt and make sue it's under you right.
Muy Bueno!
Thanks for posting, I was just thinking about doing this same mod. Hoping mine comes out as nice. I've already made a hammock with a layer of 2.5 apex attached. Was thinking of layering the Costco quilt on top of that like a layering system. Maybe make the Costco quilt removable somehow.
Anyway, nice hammock. Hope she serves you well.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same
Nice video. It looks like you already have a built in top quilt going so you should be all set for the colder temps. I want to make one of these however I'm scared to.
That looks like the MARPAT camouflage. I love the idea, makes things a bit simpler.
Thanks for the review. I saw that thing on its test run in the BSF and was impressed. Grapenut has become quite the seamstress.
Grapenut did an excellent job sewing the quilt asym and keeping the differential cut between the top and bottom of the quilt from compressing the down on that marpat camo hammock.
BTW you have hiked with someone who could loan you a Bonefire hammock to test
Keep the videos coming and hope to see you on the trail soon.
