    Recommend me a Tarp

I just sold my Warbonnet SF as part of a hammock package, expecting my OES tarp by now..... I know, should have read the complaints before ordering, but, picked a small one up second hand and liked the quality and rushed to get a big one......

Now I am looking to chargeback my CC on the purchase of the OES and will be looking for another tarp.

I have two 11 foot Dream Hammocks, and live in South Florida, so, rain and night time temps around 30 where I go camping during the winter can be expected, with much hotter and humid weather during the Spring, Fall and Summer.

I don't want to spend the money on a CF Tarp, and would like to keep it under $200 or so......

Throw em at me and tell me why!!!!

    Thanks

If you can make HangCon in 2016, you should be able to see a bunch of different tarps and get some good information before you buy. I have a HH hex that I'll loan you in the meantime.

WB Superfly currently up in FS section +10% off WB sale coupon, for future purchases.

I'd buy this one, if I had the cash laying around, and I actually like the AHE Toxaway I'm using, just fine.

JRB 12' x 10' Universal Tarp. Liked it so much I bought a second one so my friends trying out hammocking would not complain that I kept the best for myself. I may buy other hammocks in the future, but my tarp search is over. My 12' hammock fits under it just fine, so your 11' will be well covered. Please give strong consideration to adding the center pole thingy. Not necessary by any means, but makes it nice.

I did a lot of camping in the Fisheating Creek area (in the day).
I had a small tarp in those days and always wished I had a little more room to ride out the rain.
I have since picked up a couple of tarps. One has doors (OMW) and the other is the Bullfrog.
For central and south Florida I can highly recommend the Bullfrog with 132" ridge line.
It's a modern/old school, rectangular tarp. It can be setup in a big rectangle with little pitch from the ridge line (picnic table style).
Or with steep pitch for bad weather. It has become my favorite.

I have one without, and I think I may go with one with doors, to have ability for both.....

That's an awesome gesture.... Thank you. I have a tarp I can use, unless the weather gets really bad, windy and rainy..... I am going to give OES until Wednesday, and, if I don't hear anything by then, I will be charging back my CC..... And looking to order something else.... Might just go with another SF or one from JRB......

I was going to recommend a superfly but you are obviously already familiar with it. I love mine.
