Hello everyone! My name is Taylor, and I come from a small town in Alabama. I've been hanging and kayaking for 3 years now throughout north Alabama, the Mobile bay and Florida panhandle. I'm a marine science major so I prefer hanging near the coasts! Feel free to message me anytime you're in the north Alabama area!
Good stuff! I'm from Huntsville but go to school in Ohio, so I haven't had a chance to backpack in Alabama yet! Hopefully if this ridiculous weather holds out, I should be able to go over winter break! Every been to the Sipsey Wilderness?

Hey! I have been in the Sipsey for day trips kayaking! Most of my longer trips have been in Bankhead or on the elk river for backpacking! I'm planning the next couple of weeks to go on a couple night trip to Lake Guntersville soon.Originally Posted by Darthmingi92

Welcome from the state just to your east. We've got some friends in your area near Decatur with whom we enjoy camping, most recently at Desoto state Park. You're in a pretty area up there with lots of close spots to get out to.
