Hammock camping at Havasu falls?

I was there in Sep, coming up from the river. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I would say there are opportunities for a hammock. Mr. Albino Big Horn in my avatar is from Havasu Canyon as well.

Beautiful! I can't wait until I can get down there. What were the temperatures in September?

Very hot in the sun, 100+. Decent in the shade, maybe 95. The water is probably 70 degrees, but very brackish with lots of minerals, giving it the terquoise color. Here is the confluence of the terquoise blue Havasu Creek and the muddy Colorado.

) but the Flying" potties was while they were rebuilding the composting toilet house at the top of the campground.

My favorite camping experience was a havasu falls in 1990. Slept under the stars on a cold march night. Been chasing the havasu experience since then.....its what hooked me on backpacking.
