Love to see little ones out there on the trail. Looks like they did well with the walking, camping, and lasagna with meat sauce. Good on you; hope you all have many more.

Their backpacks are REI Comet backpacks, they are no longer made and have been replaced by the REI Passage. They have a very wide range of adjustment in the torso so they will fit the kids for years. If the Passage is anything like the Comet Id highly recommend it. They've been very durable and the buckles and straps and easy to use for kids. It also has numerous pockets and features, like small clear windows to help the kids find things without unzipping every pocket on the pack, that the kids love.

Great video. It's nice to see kids that enjoy being outside like yours do. They seem to really enjoy it because they didn't complain. I'm a scout leader that would be nice to go on a camp out with out complaining and your kids seam to want to learn. Great video and great kids.

Yes they all really enjoy it. One of my youngest daughter's top requests this year for Christmas was her own hammock and underquilt. She's hooked. She's going to have a Dutch Brillant Blue Hexon 1.0 hammock with knotty mods and Cinchbuckles waiting for her under the tree this year.

Probably nothing new to a scout leader, but I made a short video of things that work for me to keep the kids interested in backpacking and camping.
