    100% DIY Set-Up

    Hi fellow hangers,
just completed my DIY set-up and had a chance to test it right away.
It is a dream. I slept from 10pm to 11am. No joke! Way better than the HH i had before.

It is a gahtered end made out of 50g/m^2 ripstop with 200g/m^2 climashield top and under quilt, continous 3mm dyneema ridgline with whopees spliced at the ends, aluminum tube Marlin spike toggles, a 30g SilNylon tarp with doors, continous ridgline and a snake Skin with pocktes to stow the lines.

Great forum here! Had a blast to resaerch and built this stuff.
Only sad think is that i ran out of projects now!

    Regards,
    Marvin

P.S.: Excuse the bad photo quality. Just took my cellphone with me...

You didn't run out of projects, just wait until your friends get a load of your set up. That is mighty fine looking gear.

Awesome! Great job. That whole setup screams Darth Vader to me. Especially the tarp. Enjoy it!

Good looking set up. Now it's time to start on another one. After I do something I always look back at what I would do different.
