    UQP

What is the most UL UQP? Should I try to make my own or does someone sell one? For a 3/4 length UQ.

The one by 2QZQ is like only 5-6oz. You can't get much lighter. I made my own and ended up at 9oz.

I just got one from 2QZQ in Argon and it is only 5oz and didn't cost much more than I could have diy'ed it for. They will work with all length quilts.

What textile did you use? I'm thinking cuben.

2QZQ might make you one from the Argon 67. I made DIY one from the Argon 67, it weighs 4 oz, but it is a bit shorter than the 2QZQ one, since I use shorter UQ and I am short.

I just used some calendared nylon. Cuben will be lighter.

How about making a prototype out of tyvek (heavy but cheap) to work the bugs out in the design. When you're done, just use it for a ground cloth.

    That's a great idea. Think I have a roll of tyvek . Father in-law is a builder .
