    Add-a- Porch Pics

    I got to try out the Add-a- Porch from WL a few times and I'm finally getting time to post the pics.

    I found that setting up my hammock so that the porch was on the zipper side gave me the extra room of a pole mod. I used a couple of feet of Zing-It for tie-outs and would add a loop of shock cord for pitching it. I had no issues with water puddling the several times I used it.

    Let me know if you have any questions.

    Looks cool. I think in bad weather you could install it on the end of the tarp on a diamond and have a door. hooked onto the tarps pull outs and the ridgline.

    Hey great concept and the vestibule can be rigged into blocking wind when the weather is bad. I would add a 5" drape on three sides for drizzle and light rain.

    I went with this idea pictured below
    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl

    WOO, I'm a big fan of setting up my tarp in porch mode especially as warm as it has been here in NC this year. The idea behind the Add-a-Porch is so that you can have your tarp set-up normally or in storm mode and can still have an area to cook or have a friend over without being on top of the rest of your gear. I believe as long as the wind isn't blowing in rain as you discussed with the 5" drape then you can fit 3 adults underneath, comfortably. I don't have that kind of room under my tarp in Porch mode with hammock and my gear. Thanks for the feedback.
