Hello all,
I just got back from my first hanging trip in KY. Got into hanging by stumbling onto a YouTube hammock review by Shug. That guy is a wealth of information. Loving the comfort and conveniences of the hammock. Trees are something we have plenty of here in KY. Flat and clear ground for a tent are much less plentiful. I've already converted one of my buddies to be a hanger. Are we in a cult?
I just saw your thread here, so welcome from another kentuckyian. Shugs videos can really get a man to thinking. That's for sure. He inspired me to build my own stove. And I'm looking into diy tarps. Fosters pots, hillbilly pots. The list goes on. It's hard to get away from them once you start too. Welcome to the forums and glad your a member.
