Welcome from southern Ontario!
Hello neighbor and welcome to the Hammock Forums.
Please post up your gear choices and how they work for your back.
Hi all! Greetings from the Pacific Northwest.
I'm new to the forum. I live in the south part of Surrey BC near White Rock. I've been hanging quite awhile, and it really works for my back too. Never slept very well in tents.
I'm hoping to connect with some fellow hangers nearby. I moved here 2 years ago and haven't done near enough for lack of local ideas that work with a road only motorcycle or a Smart Car. Stealth camping is fun and seems like some decent spots around if I can have a safe place to park without getting towed or something. I went to Davis lake with my daughter last summer with no prior idea of the goings on out there. Too bad, such a nice area. When the shooting started we decided not to stay there. Bunch of crazy "target practice" I guess. Not where I want to hang. We found out later the whole general Stake lake area is a favorite spot for crazy rednecks and gangs to practice shooting.
I don't mind Provincial park type camping, but lots are designed for tents and RVs which means cleared spots and not good tree selection.
Anybody know a few in the area that work well for us? My wife prefers showers etc. LOL If I take her with me, which I actually like to do, better not go too rustic
