This is probably a dumb question, but the only dumb question is the one not asked right? So here goes...
Up until recently, I have used a continuous ridgeline to hang my tarp. So when packing, I would keep my ridgeline in the tarp skins and keep the tarp in a stuff sack. That is also how I would store between trips.
The last 5 or so outings, I have not used a ridgeline and just attached the tarp using guylines to the trees. I pack the tarp in the skins, which makes it super quick to hang.
My question is with the tarp completely dry, does anyone see a concern with storing the tarp (in this case a WB Superfly) in the skins between hangs, or would it be better to store it in a looser stuff sack and then just prep them in the skins between trips?
Thanks!
