First trip of 2016 - Big Sur

    Howdy folks!

I found the light of hammock camping a few years ago, and have been tinkering with my setup ever since. I went out to Big Sur with a couple of friends to bring in the new year. My current setup is WBBB + EE UQ + Mamajamba RF. I slept really comfortably! I'm looking forward to my next trip out.

I've been trying to get my bag weight as light as possible, but mostly because I have a knee that likes to act up. Current base weight is 11.1lbs, but I'll never give up sleep comfort for a lighter pack weight.

Hoping to head there next month with the wife. Then going back to that area with my scouts in March. Where we go and end up is on them. As their Advisor I am just along for the ride. We love this area.
