Australian made Goshawk Hammock from Tier Gear

Just got a new hammock and couldn't be happier. It's very comfortable and come standard with some great inclusions.

This vid is a quick run over of its features and why I liked it so much after spending just 1 hour in it. The same night I slept in it and all aspects of the hammock delivered.

Appologiies if the Australia bird sounds around my place are a little loud in the vid, the tweets play havoc with the sound more so if your watching on a phone as they don't have much bass... So my deep manly voice doesn't stand out.... Anyway, all part of the outdoors experiance.

Check out the website for the tech bits.... "I'm just hitting the highlights"

Thanks mate it's a great review, I appreciate it. When I first watched it the other day I was thinking - whoa man take it easy in there. For me you nailed all the aspects of the design that I wanted for the Aussie market - good views, durability, comfort, and still reasonably lightweight.

No worries, always like to share products with everyone when the product is a good one!

Hahah yeah I'm fairly at home in a hammock, the vid makes it look crazy as the trees I was on gave some flex. But the hammock just feels large and strong enough to move around it!

    Love it.

Do you side sleep? If so, how is the GoShawk hammock for that style of sleeping? Also what UQ do you use.

Am deciding between WHBB XLC , ridgerunner or Goshawk/2. Would like to buy Oz made but only if I can sleep comfortably

At the moment I use a Hammock Bliss Skybed Bug Free and I think I'm too tall for it I'm very restless in it.

Hey mate - I am not sure how often Lep checks in here so I thought I would jump in.

I do occasionally sleep on my side, in a semi fetal position, and find it comfortable but everyone is different. Most people would sleep on their backs though.

If you check out my site you will see I am also making down under-quilts, and also have a full length due out soon - http://www.tiergear.com.au/11/online...la-under-quilt.

I am happy to answer any other questions, and if you want to check out a Goshawk I have some people in Brisbane who would be willing to show you one I am sure.

Hey Simon, I'm now keen to check out a Goshawk here in Brisbane. Know of any forum members with a Goshawk so I can pm them?
