    Griz Beaks, one or two?

Good morning all. Last summer, I was thinking about adding doors to my HH tarp but then saw some pictures posted by outandback of his setup using Griz Beaks and I liked the idea. I like the idea of adding one or two or not taking them at all. So, for the Griz Beak users do you just have one set or do you have two and what are your reasons for one or two. Thanks!

I have, and use two, on my 10x10 BCUSA tarp. I use them not only for wind/rain protection but for a privacy thing when I am in a group situation which is why I like one on each end

I only have one, and have gotten though some pretty rough weather with it. If you close one end up tight, you can shift your hammock more toward that end, effectively making your tarp longer and providing better coverage for the foot end.

I think for most instances you can get by just fine with doors on one end. Just put the door on the side facing into the wind. On the other end you can zip your rain coat (or kilt) around the end of your hammock for extra protection. The main bonuses that I see for using doors on each end are 1) total privacy in a group setting and 2) helps to hold in heat in very cold weather.

Tnx for the replies. I haven't done group hangs so my privates aren't an issue. I have enough material to make two sets but think for starters I'll just do one. I never thought about sliding the hammock closer to the closed end. Good idea.
