What a great resource you are!
I make a living as a professional photographer www.chippankey.com for over 35 years and spend it on my family, fly fishing, kayak, and hammock gear. Most of my trips take place in North Arkansas because the Ozarks are close and are home to blue-ribbon trout streams. The occasional outing across the US when work or vacations take me away.

New to the latest in hammock gear and procedures, your forum has been a wealth of information I could not have gained on my own for several hangings.
Hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forum someday. Until that time I hope you don't mind me peeking over your shoulder.

Have you had many outings in the last year?

I'm new around here too. The wife and I frequent Memphis often being it is the closest urban setting for Baltimore, MD transplants. I was running around with the Memphis Whitewater Kayaking group for a while before life got in the way of that hobby.

What kind of photography do you do? Have a website you'd like to share?

Because my market is small to medium, I get to photograph a lot of different subject matter for different clients. Thank God! Keeps the boredom factor at a minimum.

Have you had many outings in the last year?

A few but not as many as I'm planning for the upcoming year! Lol. My son and I are making the transition from car camping to hiking with our first trip planned this spring...working on getting the gear needed now and I just ordered my hammock setup a couple days ago so I can't wait for that to come in and give me something new to play around with!

Well we've been Teardrop'n mostly the Arkansas State Parks, but we do hit Shelby Meeman or T.O Fuller when we need more than one day in Memphis.

We just started backpacking before the weather turned cold and been learning by trial and error up at Lake Wappapello and North Sycamore near Mountain View Arkansas. Sleeping on the ground with air mattresses is killing me, so I've been poking around here looking for solutions.
