thanks for the additional pics. my plan is to use the stand when moto camping. it's longer than i'd prefer by 5 inches, so it'll stick out past my side cases on either side by 2.5" or so. but it's still doable.
Man - I'm guessing it will not fit in the kayak dry storage of most or any models - but if needed on some short trips - I suppose I could strap it on - canoe camping though it will def be a go
