3/4 length, 60 x 44" with 14 three inch longitudinal tubes and the original 7oz of down. Faux baffles are a nadge over 3/4" deep.

Slept in this one and temps got down to 1.1°C (34°F), ice on the car, not on the grass. Was mightily impressed by how well only 7oz of 700 fill could work.
I am a hot sleeper tho'.

I am hoping it would make a huge difference, and I'm sure it will. I get chills with my current sewn through UQ with extra fill even at 60F.

Mad geniuses, the lot of you. CDTs have earned their spot in the hall of fame of things like Imusa, Reflectix, and others that the DIY community has been able to transform into awesome new things.

Good luck folks, love the innovation. Unfortunately if you ever wanted to sell one of these you'd have to charge 8 gabillion dollars to make up for time spent in R&D and build. Luckily the value of a successful build and bragging rights is priceless.

Made a blue TQ for a member here. I added a couple of grosgrain loops on the bottom of the footbox for hanging purposes. Also added a triangle of material to the top of the footbox to strengthen the seam. uploadfromtaptalk1476491417335.jpguploadfromtaptalk1476491459616.jpguploadfromtaptalk1476491484729.jpg

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

Just started reading some forums over my morning Diet Pepsi. This just HAD to be the first thing I opened. Thankfully, I haven't had breakfast yet.

Funny, Just found someone selling TQ's on Ebay made from the Blackdiamond quilts. Might be a good solution for those that can't DIY.

LUL.... Some grosgrain, no seams ripped, and no suspension... and turn a profit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAMMOCK-UNDE...IAAOSw-kdXzvi6

At least he is honest that he is just doing this for people who can't DIY (and to most likely recoup his initial costs for throw purchases).

Shoot, I could sell Costco Topquilts like they were going out of business just by adding a little flair and ripping some seams.
