yep, found Shug's youtube channel looking for light weight cook stoves (saw a video that mentioned Shug's site), but his entertainment value kept me watching and before you knew it I was looking up hammocks too lol. I've been dying to sleep in the woods lately and it's all his video's fault, thanks Shug!

Thanks for keeping the videos and your shows g rated. My wife and I saw your show at the Ga. National fair a few years ago. It was great in every way and you were so kind to give us a few minutes of your time after the show. I look forward to watching your videos with my grandson.

Shug's educational and entertaining videos were the final push to convince myself to move off the ground. He answered so many questions before I even knew what to ask. He's also set my expectations so high now for other videos on gear, tips, and trips that I'm often let down by what otherwise would be a good video.

I can tell you from experience that it's not easy making videos at that Shug level of quality, but the man has decades worth of experience in the entertainment industry, and it shows. I tip my hat to the Shug for being able to entertain, educate, and influence so many of us here. Funny enough, that wasn't his direct intentions when he began doing videos, but we see where it all led. Good show, Sir Shug.

Thanks for all the nice words everybody. I like editing. Shooting a trip video is fun. How-To videos do take some thought.

I really wish the site had a "like button" because I don't really have anything more to add than has already been said, but I do agree with everyone who responded with kind words for Shug. He is truly a great ambassador for Hammocks, Camping and Hammock Forum!
