As far as the charity auction we have no items from our generous business' like normal. If you all feel we should take a break I will understand. If we all decide to provide items for the charity, the Proceeds would go to Huntington's Disease Society of America. I will leave the decision to the majority.

It was my suggstion to donate to the Huntington's Disease Society. My daughter in law's mom has Huntingtons and her 2 grandsons have put together a program to raise money to support this Charity. last summer they raised $20,000 on their 500 mile bike ride, called "Crank for the Cure". This years project is a year long program which they call "Pump for the Cure". So far they have raised about $5,000. Our donation would go to help support their cause. It's a year long project and I have not advised them that we would be donating, so if we decide not to have an auction this weekend maybe the Fall Hang might work to be a better time.

As a new person to the group I'll just say that I'm happy either way and whichever charity others would prefer is fine with me.

I have a pair of "6-in-1" knives that I'd be willing to part with if that's the sort of thing that would work for the auction. One is brand new, one is gently used (a few strikes on the sparker). The 6 functions are: Knife, can opener, flashlight, window breaker, belt cutter, flint & steel sparker. They're black with a blade length of about 4 inches, they have belt clips and come with low-budget sheathes. They're perfectly fine products - I picked them up with the intention of using them as every day carry items, but they were a bit too large for that purpose. They'd go great in a go-bag or tucked into a trunk for a rainy day, or something like that.

Alright Folks we are headed back to Ashby for our 4th Annual Spring Swing. This will be April 8-10 with the same deal as last year. $12 Per person. With the additional cost for wood. I think Paul has Charged us $10.00 a bucket.

This is a Family event and all kids and pets are welcome. Alcohol is group moderated and asked it keep it in control.

The next item up for decision is for a worthy group for the Charity. Last year we chose wounded warrior project and while it is a worthy cause, the management of company is not what I would choose again. They sold my info I attached with our donations and I now receive multiple calls throughout the week, as well as letters from other charities.
So please be mindful of who we want to donate to.

Other than that the spreadsheet will be active shortly. Please add your name and info to it.

Also this will be a good time for certain activities that you would like to run or see happen be suggested. Let's make this a great, successful And fun hang.

Just bumping this with the pricing for the weekend and the guidelines for the weekend. We are two days out and I am pretty excited about it. The weather looks decent and the people coming look even brighter.

I am sure people will be there anytime after 10 on Friday. I can't get there until sometime before 1pm.

Capricorn and I need to go on the tentative list now. Susan's having bad knee pain (all week long), and I don't know if she will really be up for camping next week. She is being a real trooper and saying that she still wants to go and will play it by ear, but I am saying that it might be better for her to stay home and rest it and live to hang another day.

I will update the sign up, and keep you all informed...

Sadly, we have to bow out. My knee pain has gotten pretty bad and really think resting it is the most prudent thing to do. Really bummed. Hope you all have a great time and hopefully we can make it to another hang soon! (We plan to be at Harold Parker Memorial Day weekend. If anyone else is there feel free to find us and say hi!)

Ali is packed, I, (as usual) will just toss a bunch-o-gear in the SUV, hit the Supermarket for a random grazing, and we will head up to The Pines - rain, snow, sleet or hail. We'll be there! Ali is trying out one of my WBBBs this hang, and we are leaving the RidgeRunners home. I will wrap her up in HG downy goodness!��
