Out this weekend and last night it was - 31 with wind chill - 41 but we were warm and toasty in our hammocks with underquilts and sandwiched reflectix pad, and down top quilts, fleece face mask and wool socks and long thermal underwear. Tarp set low to the ground.

It's warm in my set up now, even without a tarp. The wind is really strong. I imagine any colder and I'd start to feel it.

My toes are cold, but they always get that way in the hammock.

Every day is a good day.

It's getting down to 15f here which I have hit before, but I'll probably pass until tomorrow night when temps will be a little milder, but we have some wintry precipitation forecast.

Good luck tonight, that is frigid!

So it still looks like -17* as the low here. Right now it is -9*.
    Currently.

    Expected tonight.

Just hoping my thermometer will read it.

I got out this afternoon. It was -24 with the windchill. Brrrrr. I didn't use a tarp either. 0* Ghost Pepper and 0* Incubator with 2QZQ UQ protector. I bundled up and was cozy.

I'm not a winter camper, but good luck to you, buddy. I hope you stay warm. Let us know what results the test yields.

I will. Right now VERY comfy and WARM. It was -9 just going out into the hammock. That is without the wind chills. With wind chills about -27.
