On short notice I've been given the green light to go backpacking this Thanksgiving weekend so I thought I'd try out my cheap-o $15 hammock I bought last year. I purchase all the parts for a full ring buckle setup last year as well. Last night I set everything up and only to realize I don't have loops sewn into the ends of my webbing straps. I know that making "knots" in webbing is "different" than using cord.
Short of sewing loops, what the best way (strongest??) to tie a loop on the end of a piece of webbing? Simple overhand knot? Figure eight? Some wack-o webbing knot I've not heard of before? I assume the later...
