Lol nice, I'm pleasantly surprised at the presence of other fisters on this forum...and I must say I bring one of my hammocks to the field whenever able. I will leave you with one little tidbit, if you're a fister and like being one, don't PCS to Hawaii.

I don't think Hawaii would be a possibility anyway I'll probably be at Polk until I retire. There is always room in my ruck for one of my hammocks!

Cool! I work at Polk, and was out myself a couple weekends in January/February (either in the Kisatchie National Forest north of you, and East of Peason Ridge, or on some land a buddy lets me use west of Leesville.)

Nice. Those pics were at range 33. I'm on my way out for the next two weeks to rosepine and castor. Looking at the weather looks like I'm gonna be sporting my Hennessy Super Shelter.

You know we have a hang this weekend up North of Leesville... in the Kisatchie Bayou Campgrounds... take about an hour from south fort to get there. Weather's gonna be rough starting today... fogs thick as pea soup right now... Thursday/later will be nice.
