    Ridgeline pouch?

I am sure this has been discussed before, but I am on my phone with Tapatalk and the search didn't bring up much. I am looking for a ridgeline pouch or pocket or what ever you might call it. Hoping you have some suggestions of where to get one. I am looking for one big pouch or one with a couple of medium size pockets rather than a bunch of small pockets.

    Thanks,
    Steve

The most common term would be a ridgeline "organizer". If the desire was there, these can be a simple DIY project and completely tailored for you individual needs. If not, I'll list an abundance of ready made links to various vendors. I'm sure I'll leave some off, but many hammock related vendors sell these.....

    In no particular order....

These are just a few quick links I was able to pull up. Hope this helps.

I just made one out of a stuff sack I don't use. Tied a piece of string in a knot and stuffed it in the top two corners so a clove hitch would have something to catch on. Then it's sort of prusik/taught-line hitched on to the SRL. The open end faces my head. No sewing and made of stuff laying around and probably only weighs a few grams. IIRC, it's the stuff sack my HG Incubator 20* UQ came in.

I do exactly this with the stuffsack I do use. Instead of knotting to the bag, I have sewn in loops to the corner of my stuff sack at the opening and end of the stuff sack opposite the side the cordlock cinches. I then mitten hook those loops to the prussics on my ridge. This setup works really well as I can open up the bag and leave it just a little cinched and everything stays put. The side entry makes for really accessible storage.

My ridgeline bag is always happy to be out. DIY'ed mine to be a large catch-all. Velcro holds it on to easy to switch from hammock to hammock.

I recently inherited a nice old Brother sewing machine and I'm currently getting it dialed in to start some DIY, myself.

One of my first projects will be to modify or make a bag that easily serves as a stuff sack and SRL organizer.

for a buck or so you can goto LOWE'S or HOME DEPOT and pickup a canvas nail apron that will suffice until you make up your mind as to what you want to DIY...

Might i suggest checking out Jared @ Simply Light Designs. He has amazing dutch-like service & carries 3 different size ridgeline pouches.
