Fine, ChiefH. Glad you're so close.
Bumping this to the top as a reminder that the Watoga Hang is still a go! Anyone new thinking of coming?

I heard from Roger that we'll have a Scout Troupe with us that he has introduced to hammock camping. Dutch said he plans to be there. Also 2Q & ZQ. Hickery will bring back my splitting maul; I promised him a hike with some bushwhacking for Saturday. Oh-No says "Oh Yes." I'll start a sign up list next week, and we'll post a spread sheet if the numbers warrant it.
I plan to attend, especially if I am still unemployed (retired).

Well, WaHHA is only 20 days away, and I had a big surprise today - I saw Buzz! (Explanation: see this post in last year's trip report.) This is only the second Buzz-sighting ever (by me). He said he and his wife will drift in again this year.
This is starting to sound like a really great hang! So looking forward to seeing everyone and seeing some new and different gear.
I also will bring a Pocket Rocket stove and a cook pot for the raffle. I mostly use Esbit or a Jetboil and the pocket rocket stove is getting lonely.
We are looking forward to this hang. The whole family is excited. Does anyone know the status of the greenbrier?

The river or the trail? The water levels change pretty fast, but shouldn't affect any land-based activities like camping, hiking, or bicycling. The river trail is blocked around mile 13, but that's way south of the park. A number of people have spoken of biking in from the north to WaHHA, then continuing south to Anthony at mile 14 (conveniently only 4 miles from my house). I can help with shuttles. I'll get an update next Saturday from the park superintendent.
