Looks like one of the conglomerates that has shipped jobs overseas is jumping on the quilt bandwagon.This sure enough may be interesting to take a look at, but personally, I'm staying with cottage gear.

It looks like a more confined quilt setup. I'd rather have an actual quilt. I think a quilt would be much more adjustable and user friendly at night.
Except for being zipperless, this seems very similar to the Big Angnes bags.
I love mummy bag hoods, so this seems like a pretty good quilt implementation to me. Nice approach, IMHO.
That is because you've never tried a JRB Hood.
I do like the hood approach...an integrated hood saves a lot of body heat. I have the JRB hood though and I'd rather deal with a separate hood in exhange for being able to sleep on my side w/o a facefull of hood. And wear the hood separately in camp (even though it muffles conversations...or maybe because it does). I'm with TeeDee.

well speaking of hoods....the best I've ever experienced on any jackt or stand alone is the one built into an Exped Wallcreeper....I had one but it was a bit too short so gave it to the oldest.
I like the way it wraps around your shoulders and kind of tucks in at the sides. Light weight for a 20 degee bag. I might have to clone it someday.
