My Intro

Here is my quick intoduction to all the forum members... Hello!

I enjoy hiking, camping and working outdoors. I live in southern illinois, so I'm a quick drive to Missouri, Kentucky and Indiana. I joined the forum to meet people who share my interests and to share some of my experiences with others.

I was in the military for 15 years and saw many foreign lands and enjoyed it. Been there and got the t-shirt.

I have many hobbys and do a lot of DIY stuff. Feel free to contact me.

Oh yeah before I forget, SHUG told me to sign up.

I need to figure out how to edit my profile to add my gear list and such.

@pyrogen when I started out I wasn't sure if I would like hammock camping. I'm 6'3" 240 lbs (average size guy hehehe) and did a little reading on the internet and went with a eno double nest to try it all out. It seems to have worked out pretty well and haven't upgraded yet. I know many people that own Cadillacs are cringing as they read this post.

@pool socks yes, I have some diy stuff for my gear like my suspension and my tarp. More to come on those!
