So I upgraded my gear for the new season. New hammock, tarp and underquilt. I am looking to find the ideal set of Dutch bling to add to the setup. My main objective is to make my rig easily adapt to a wide variety of situations (tree distance, variety of ways to pitch the tarp for different weather, etc) and make setup as easy as possible. Convenience is key; I do not obsess over a few grams when pretty much all the choices are already lightweight.
I find the variety of flyz, stingerz, beez, wasps, fleaz, worms and buckles overwhelming am looking for advice on these. Also, should i consider a continuous ridgeline?
Here is the gear in question:
- Warbonnet Blackbird XLC 1.7 Double Layer with Webbing
- HG Cuben Fiber Tarp with doors
- EE Revolt Underquilt
Any advice is much appreciated.
