    My dutched out ridgerunner

The story starts when I hung my ridgerunner the for the second time it had a horrible tear. Well brandon took care of me and fixed it up. It was back before I knew it. So in order to prevent the tear from happening again I decided to try to put together a ridgeline and upgrade the suspension in the process. Well i still am working on the ridgeline doing research in how I am going to pull it off (it is always nice to hang things from it. However in the process Upgraded the suspension to spiders. I wanted something that was light, small, packable and reusable. So I got dutch spiders a dutch beiner some continuous loops of amsteel 1/8" and a ridgeline beiner and o ring (the last two are for the ridgeline.) Here is what I did in pictures

Did you hang the hammock too taught when it tore? Looks like a solid setup. Do you know what the weight of the suspension is, including the Dutch biners?

About the tear. How much do you weigh? Is it close to the limit of the hammock or was it simply a flaw in the material or sewing?

After rereading your original post, did the hammock tear when you were actually in it for the second time, or you just noticed it when you hung it up the second time?

Yes the tear was the second time i set it up. It weighs 204 g with webbing and loops and bineer. I weigh 220 I am working that treadmill to loose weight. Brandon said it was the hammock being hung to tight and to be fair I did have it way to tight.
