Two months in Hawaii (Oahu/Hawaii)

So I'll be spending two months in Hawaii working on a few various projects to unwind.

I plan on camping 90% of my time there.


I'll be spending two weeks on Oahu then 6 weeks on the Big Island.


Anyone got any recommendations on beach parks that are hammock friendly? Will I run into the issue of banning hammocks?

I've seen numerous tent / hammock campers up near Wiamea Bay on Oahu north of Kanaohe.

Well, it's May 2nd, 2016 here on Kauai. There was no mention of dates for your visit. Rental car? Hitch hiking?
