    My Bishop Bag DIY Tutorial

I wanted to make a new bishop bag for my Hammeck, so I made a video.

I like the pocket idea - I usually wind up hooking the "bottom" CL to the drawstring cord by my carabiner, but the pocket idea is much cleaner. It would be especially helpful for my tarp's bishop bag. Nice tutorial. Your buttonhole ability exceeds mine (I use a piece of grosgrain reinforcement primarily because my sewing machines eats ripstop when zigzagging).

This is great! I have recently converted to cinch buckles and have had an issue with where/how to stow the straps that will keep them easy to deploy. That pocket idea gives me a perfect place to put my straps and keep them handy.

    Thanks for sharing.

You could just sew a piece of grosgrain to the end and melt a hole through the middle with a heated nail.

Doogie...thank you for the great tutorial. I'll be using this video to make a bishop bag for the hammock I'm going to make in a week or so. Exactly what I was looking to do!

Thanks. I have been using these for a while now, I like storing my tarp and stake bags in it while I'm set up, that way I don't lose them.
