What's the Current Top Science on Light(er) Suspensions?

I have tried speed hooks with Kevlar huggers and amsteel lines; the hooks wear the amsteel (I'm 220). This suspension is on a nice Hammeck built to order of light stuff, but I find my good old BB more comfy and easier to fit between trees just a smidge. Considering swapping out the stock BB suspension with something lighter, starting with kevlar straps of one flavor or another (tree huggers or full straps, but with full straps I've heard there are sliding issues with traditional hardware options). So, what's the current top science on this topic?

Whoopie hooks are pretty light you could try spiders but you have to use normal webbing I heard because kevalar slips.I have my suspension it is 204g.

I'm currently using Kevlar 2.2 4' straps attached to 6' whoopie slings with whoopie hooks. Those go to continuous loops on the hammock. The suspension itself (not including the cont loops) weigh 41g per side or 82g in total. I carry 2 12" dogbones with me as a just in case at 3g each.

My hammock suspension is Carolina Red Hammock Suspension, on YouTube.
It consists of 12foot Kevlar straps and two 8 or 9 inch continuous loops. And Grappler Hitches on strap ends. Also seen on YouTube.
Put strap around tree and close with Grapplers Hitch. Continuous loop has 2 larks heads each. One larks head goes around hammock just below gathered ball and the other end of same continuous loop is larks headed around Kevlar strap. Adjust strap length and tie a slip knot in Kevlar and slide larks head down to collide with slip knot. And the slip knot ain't gonna slip! Watch video and you will see how simple it is to use. Not much going on right now commercially that I find interesting. There are people using knots and such, and there is always a tiny minority using single line suspensions.

I've been sticking with my Dutch Whoopie Hooks. They work and don't weigh much. While I tried the Speed Hooks, I'm beginning to doubt we'll ever Speed Hook 2.0 since they have been coming out in two weeks for the last year.

I met Phantom Grappler at the Linville Gorge Hang and he showed me this setup. I liked it, and replicated it with Mule Tape instead of Kevlar. I've used it twice now and will keep testing it but so far so good. I like it because when I taught it to my kids they got it first time. YMMV.

I started out with amsteel UCR's thinking it would be the lightest, got the titanium buckles from Dutch and found some light weight strapping at a flea market and actually reduced the weight a hair...11', 1.0 hammock, suspension, and stuff sack at 12 oz.

I drove to Ohio today and had many thoughts, including my soon to be built DIY Robic hammock. I'm thinking a CL in one end channel to a Marlin spike hitch, and a whoopies through the other channel to a Marlin spike. Not sure of weight savings since it hasn't been built, but I'm curious.
