    Easiest suspension system

What do you think is the simplest suspension system? And by that I mean the easiest to set up. My thought is that hardware is simpler than knots (for most). So webbing for tree straps which are attached to a carabiner which is attached to whoopie slings directly on a hammock seems the simplest to me.

I like straps only suspension. Carabiner on loop end on tree and then sheet bend through CL on hammock. No muss no fuss. No carvel no cookie puss.

The daisy-chain type straps like the ENO Atlas and others are basically idiot proof. The first time I ever tried to string them up it took me all of 3 minutes to lay in my DoubleNest.

A little while back I did a video on The Warbonnet Cinch Buckle system. I got fed up with whoopies because they were just too difficult to adjust after I had unloaded everything into my hammock. . Once I tried the cinch buckle system I never turned back. It's extremely easy and simple to use.

I have whoopies to a carabiner on my HH. Made a hammock with whoopies over the weekend and attached with MSH to tree straps. Quick and easy...so not sure which I prefer. I'll have to do more research this weekend with my son.

Strap with carabiner, Dutch cinch buckle with a whoopie hook attached. Continuous loop on hammock. Simple and you can completely remove straps when they are wet.

Can't beat continuous loops and the Cinch Bug strap system from Dutch. Love it!

I find the Dutch Whoopie Hook suspension to be dirt simple and pretty light, to boot.

Webbing and buckles on all mine. I use the Warbonnet kit on hammock that did not come with suspension. Reach around a tree and clip the carabiner back onto the strap. I just don't see it getting any easier. As for adjusting, if you can adjust a backpack belt or shoulder strap, then you've got it.

I've used the cinch bugs too. This actually might be a contender for the simplest now that I think about it. Adjustments are fairly easy to manage too.
