Wow, this thread took a turn, and unfortunately I can't see MacEntyre's picture.

Thanks all, for the suggestions on the UQ. I was thinking I would use all of the down, but when I originally bought the down, I was thinking full length UQ, so I had doubts if I should use less for a 2/3 or make a winter UQ.

Use all of it! Being cold sucks! Even in the Great State of Alabama! I got a JRB winter nest and If I had it to go over I would have added more down. I mostly camp in the Great state! Cold spots feel like someone rubbed icy-hot on my back. Good luck!
