I would say keep an eye out as there are many of us who go on a regular basis.

I am up there all 4 seasons. Rarely will I post about an upcoming trip. If you are looking to head up, send me a pm. There is a 50% chance I have a trip the weekend you are looking.

I am planning on doing a thru hike of the Northville Placid Trail starting at the end of August (as in the 31st probably), going north. Maybe I will see some of you there.

Give me a shout too. I gotta finish that off this season. I need to knock off wakley dam to placid. And another 8 or 10 high peaks.looks like it maybe an early start this year for me. ( I don't winter camp did it before not my thing)but I will push the shoulder seasons . Have you done any of the trail before? It's sweet for hanging it's actually where I started my hammocking.

Nope, haven't done it before. Watched a lot of videos and was inspired to make it my goal this year.

Good for you ! Super nice trip ! Lots of water and super nice places to hang. Lots of owls (my favorite birds) and loons. Bring a few calls and you can get some great interactions with them. Loons will display and Come right in and have called owls into trees right above me. Neat experience but then again I'm easily amused. Lol. Probably not telling you anything you don't know but make sure you treat or filter your water well. I haven't had an issue but some areas have LOTS of beaver activity.

Your videos are one of the reasons I want to hike the NPT. All your fault...lol. But I am looking forward to the challenge. Will be the biggest physical undertaking I have ever tried. But I have five months to prepare.
