I tried to find some info in the old ogee threads. How do you determine the triangle size?

I used the width of the fabric as my guide ie. 58 inch wide fabric i squared off one side of the yardage then measured 58 inches and cut that off to make a square then cut the square in half along the diagnal of it. Makes it 79 inches give or take if i remember right then hem the edges and what nots to make the tarp.
