    Pulled the trigger!

Hey guys, thanks to all the advice from the very helpful people here, I bought a new setup! Is this a good low - budget setup that I chose?
Hammock- dutchware 11ft. With whoopie slings
    Rain tarp- kelty Noah 12
Bug net- usgi military grade bug net(hopefully this works well)

I am still choosing a underquilt and I was going to buy a snugpak but they are way backordered. So any suggestions? Thanks.

Hammock and tarp both have many fans. I have a Dutchware 11-footer myself. Kelty is a great value.

Not familiar with the bug net. Maybe you can set it up and post some pics? I'm sure you'll generate some interest if it works.

You're starting better than many of us have before...

If you want an easy DIY project, look up a PLUQ (Poncho Liner Underquilt) here on the forums.

Sounds like a nice start, except the bugnet. Those bugnets weigh a ton and I doubt it will work well. I hope you didn't pay much for it - it would be a classic nube mistake (I made a lot) to pay $20 for something that doesn't work worth a crap when you could have bought a perfectly good Fronkey bugnet for $57 from Dutch.

Sweet. I use a Dutch with whoopies and Noah12 too. I typically don't use a bug net.

Highly recommend AHE's Jarbidge. The quality exceeds the price.

Sounds like a nice set up. Bugs aren't crazy where I am, I usually just spring some deep woods Off on me and am good for the night.

Good choice on the Dutchware hammock.

I second the Arrowhead Equipment recommendation. I have 2 friends with Jarbidges. I plan on getting one too I like them so much.

Every day is a good day.

Is this setup for backpacking? If so the Noah , army net, and snug will be a lot weight.
